I always used to dream of flying in helium balloons above the surface of the earth, because I thought that was the most free flying experience. How dumb was I?; for hot air balloons are infinitely more safe.

i’m going to have my first and propably last baloon trip tomm. i paid 400$ for me and my girlfriend for this ride. it’s 60 min flying and champaine on the board. flemington nj. i’m so excited
they’re flying only mornings and evenings because of the wind and some crap.

@899983 thats cheap i know in $ thats like 250, but here they cost about $400 in america, i guess it depends where you are but here thats how much they are
@shopsnacks yes you can. you see directions of wind sort of layer on top of each other, so by determining which winds are blowing where, you can go up and down to change direction.
@cjracer1000 not even that, some used balloons can be as low as $5000

Not really. My old mans a pilot and his mate also a pilot but they’re both scared of heights but love flying. We believe it has something to do with the fact there are no lines going to the groung from the balloon.
